Logo Process
The logo itself is based on a flower called the “Bird of Paradise Flower”, otherwise known by its Scientific name, Strelitzia. The Sketches shown are explorations on how I could keep the form of the flower, while also turning it into a feasible logo.
The logo circled in red is the logo we chose.
Color and Font Explorations
The client didn’t like the gradients, so we stuck with one color with a very minor gradient.
Then we decided to change the font and remove the blue.
Final Deliverable
The font we used was Albiona Bold Italic.
The gradient goes from #DC234F (Strelizia Red) to #EF3B39 (Strelizia off-red).
The shade of black is #231F20
